ABOUT COLLECTION
“Éclosion” comes from French and symbolizes the “opening of a bud”: the moment a flower gradually unfolds its petals. The image of the freesia continues in the silhouettes and details of the garments.
“The freesia is FLÉR’s recognizable code and the main inspiration for the collection. This time, I wanted to explore its petals more deeply, along with the different stages of a bud opening, and how clothing can transform through cut lines and the transformation of the silhouette. The freesia is delicate, yet it has a clear, almost sculptural form. It is this balance of softness and structure that I wanted to convey in the Éclosion collection.”

DESIGN DNA
The freesia appears in appliqués and brooches, and its petals can be felt in the rounded sleeves and the cocoon skirt. The slits on the sleeves resemble opened petals and allow the look to change: fasten them with buttons, open them like a cape, or leave them open over an under layer to create a layered look.
The collection’s tailoring is built on the principle of soft architecture. In the classic and cropped jackets, the shoulder line is defined yet smooth and softened. The waist is emphasized by the drawstrings on the trench coat, soft straight peplums on the silk shirts, and sculptural peplums on the poplin shirt.
FLÉR’s craftsmanship and handwork take on new forms: freesia-shaped appliqués seem to bloom on silk tops and become part of the wool skirts, while loosened fabric edges form a delicate fringe.
The collection continues FLÉR’s light palette, dominated by milk, cream, beige, and grey tones. Black appears sparingly, in monochrome looks. The tailoring is made from 100% Italian wool: grey melange, cream double-faced, and black suiting wool with a refined sheen. These are complemented by lightweight fabrics: silks, viscose, poplin, and cotton trench fabrics with a delicate silky finish.
In the Éclosion collection, FLÉR’s DNA unfolds through tenderness and lightness, handcraft, the soft architecture of silhouettes, and the freesia as the brand’s symbol.
